Apparel

  • Children should be barefoot in the classroom. Hair should be tied back and dangling jewelry should not be worn in the classroom.
  • All outdoor shoes must be left in the front cubby area. Outdoor shoes are not allowed anywhere in the facility.

Siblings

  • For safety reasons, non-registered siblings may not be on the equipment or participating in class at any time. Other parents expect the class to be age appropriate for their child. Babies brought to an older sibling’s class must either be in a carrier seat or umbrella stroller, which must stay off to the side of the room.

Safety in the Classroom - Parent/Tot

  • No matter what your child’s age or proficiency, he or she needs help and encouragement when exploring equipment. Always stay within arms reach of your child’s torso for spotting purposes.
  • We offer opportunities throughout the class and encourage your child to explore at his or her own pace. If your child does not wish to participate in circle time, we recommend that you do not try to force them, but stay with the child for spotting purposes at the equipment. Eventually circle time will become of interest and he or she will join in when ready.

Safety in the Classroom - Independent Classes

  • Once your child enters an independent class, it is very important to remember that now he/she views the teacher as the one in charge during class time. To keep this consistent, we ask that parents do not enter the classroom or shout into the classroom. Your child will learn and grow faster and be more successful in this setting.

Make up Classes

  • You are allowed to make up classes depending on availability. Please call to schedule your make-up class before attending. Make-up classes are valid only during the current session.

Illness

  • For overall consideration to teachers, parents and other children please do not bring a child who is sick or contagious to class. Ready, Set, Go! feels very strongly about this policy and we do not want anyone else to get sick as a result of a sick child being brought to class. If your child is not feeling well, he or she will not enjoy the class.

Food and Drink

  • Food and drink are not allowed in the activity rooms. Children should not have bottles in the class or on the mats. Please plan ahead for 45 minutes of fun, play and learning at Ready, Set, Go!

Diaper Changing

  • We understand that diaper changes cannot always be planned to happen before class. For sanitary reasons, please do not change a diaper on the mats OR in the Activity Room. Please utilize our lobby or waiting areas for this task. A garbage pail is always nearby for diaper disposal.

Consideration for Others

  • Ready, Set, Go! is a great place for socialization and learning consideration for others. We ask that you be aware if your child is pushing another child, cutting in line or taking toys or other equipment out of the hands of another child. Our teachers prefer not to discipline your child, so we ask you to be observant and take this opportunity to teach respect and good manners.

Visitors

  • Non-registered friends with children should not be brought along to participate in a class without an appointment. Visitors are welcome to Ready, Set, Go! If you have a friend who would like to try a class, please call us in advance to set up an appropriate time.
